Island TT veteran David Madsen Migdal shares details about his recovery from the horrors of health.
The statement has been confirmed. “I want to let everyone know that Dave suffered a massive ischemic stroke seven weeks ago.
“He never wanted to reveal it until now. He’s been feeling much better and has had an incredible recovery so far.”
Madsen-Mygdal added:
“I thought I was pretty healthy. Obviously not.
“I was skiing two weeks ago before I stroked. I was doing things I shouldn’t do – drinking, eating well, dehydration, smoking, not drinking water.
“Everyone knows I smoke a lot, but I have not had cigarettes for the past seven weeks!
“Hopefully I’ll be healthy now.”
The 69-year-old Madsen-Mygal is intended to race at 2025 North West 200, Man TT Island, and Manx Grand Prix.
However, his license was revoked by the ACU due to fear of his health.
Madsen-Mygal has raced on the mountain course for over 40 years since the 1981 Manx Grand Prix.
He finished the 130 TT race.
