According to athletic journalist David Ornstein, Chelsea created a list of three strikers nominees prior to the summer transfer period.
Signing offensive players is a priority for Chelsea in the summer transfer window, on the side of Enzo Maresca, who is struggling with goals this season.
They rely heavily on Cole Palmer’s goal, who scored 14 goals this season, but the other players aren’t even double numbers.
Chelsea was deeply interested in Victor Osimhen’s move last summer, but the Nigerian attacker went to Galatasaray on loans from Naples.
The Premier League Giants are currently targeting the moves of young strikers, and they are determined.
Ornstein revealed that Bruce has registered Ipswich town attackers Liam Dellup, Benjamin Sesco of RB Leipzig and Hugo Ekitique of Eintrak Frankfurt as candidates as transfer targets.
Chelsea has identified transfer targets
Delap has scored 12 Premier League goals this season and he may target a move to another Premier League club as his team was expected to be kicked out.
After an impressive season on top flight, there will be a lot of interest in his service, but Chelsea may have to compete with the other Premier League sides for his signature.
Sesko has scored 20 goals for the Bundesliga side this season, and is currently one of Europe’s best young attackers. It’s not surprising to see Chelsea target his move, but like Dellup, Sesco has many suitors in Europe.
Finally, Ekitique, who scored 21 goals this season, is chased by Premier League leader Liverpool, and the French attacker could move this summer after impressing some of the world’s biggest clubs.
The club feels that Nico Jackson is not enough to lead the offense next season, and it is clearly shown that they need more firepower ahead of time.
Having already secured Geovany Quenda’s signature from Sporting Lisbon, Chelsea is determined to show again its intentions and ambitions in the transfer market this summer.
Sports attacker Viktor Gyokeres is another player who is being chased by Maresca’s team.
Chelsea is suitable to sign a star rated at £60 million at 18 g/a in 14 UCL games this season
