Newcastle United are reportedly considering the move to Porto striker Sam Agehau as there are doubts about the future of Alexander Isaac.
The talented 21-year-old forward scored 27 goals in all competitions last season, providing three assists to his teammates.
According to Athletic’s David Ornstein, Newcastle has yet to contact Aghehowa’s potential deal, but he is being considered by Magpies.
The report notes that Newcastle rejected a big bid from Liverpool for star striker Isaac, but is set to be beaten by Manchester United by Benjamin Sesco.
The link with Aghehowa makes sense, so it would be interesting to see if Newcastle could do that.

Aghehowa was also a target for Chelsea before joining Porto last summer, and the athletic report noted that the move to Stamford Bridge collapsed in the later period.
Catch off side It was also previously informed early in this window that the Spaniards had interest from other Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United, Aston Villa and West Ham.
Arsenal eventually signed Victor Gyoker and now Newcastle appears to be Agehaho’s main suitor, as United brings in Sesco.
But if this is supposed to be alive to regret Chelsea’s missed, they signed a different striker instead this summer, bringing in Liam Dellup and Joa Pedro to clearly end their interest.
Ageho to Newcastle to replace Isaac tied up in Liverpool?
This interest will come to Aghehowa as Liverpool continues to be strongly linked to new bids for ISAK.
Fabrizio Romano recently posted on his YouTube channel that the Reds were serious about signing Swedish International.
Isak certainly isn’t easy to sign and isn’t cheap, but Romano suggested that Liverpool feels they have money and are ready to move again in case Newcastle shows signs of players retreating their previous stance that they’re not being sold at any price.
