The opening game of the 2025 NBA Playoffs featured shocking statistics from key players.
The Milwaukee Bucks got very short in the series opener with the Indiana Pacers, and they played like guys.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 36 points proved to be a waste of effort, and the post-game spotlight was on Kyle Kuzma.
Kuzma described his own performance as “Stinker” and pledged to improve in the second game, but Doc Rivers said Kuzma needed better help from his teammates to find him in a better scoring position.
And while it’s probably worth noting, Kuzma’s complete no-show was a disappointment with a performance that reminded him of the infamous Bucks playoff game of points, assists, rebounds, steel, block and Tony Snell.
Demarcus ‘Boogie’ Cousins is a player who is well-known for his role in hitting him during the warriors.
Cousins had the opportunity to dunk again to Kuzma six years ago, in response to Kuzma’s nightmare playoff performance.
Speaking on Run It Back, Cousins says he is still supporting the Milwaukee Bucks to win a series against the Pacers, offering Kuzma that he can improve.
He said:
“It’s actually demonic. It’s very disappointing.”
The former Bucks player added:
Cousins said Kuzma didn’t enjoy the tough night and wanted to send him a personal message.
He said:
He commented, referring to the Bucks, who are lacking in losses of 117-98. “I think this was the biggest thing in the whole game.”
