The Denver Nuggets experienced personnel changes during the 2024-25 NBA season.
If NBA teams want to make changes to their personnel, most people will try not to disrupt the franchise flow until the end of the season.
However, the Denver Nuggets shocked fans when they fired manager Michael Malone and general manager Calvin Booth ahead of the 2025 playoffs.
Fast forward to now, Nuggets has named David Adelman as permanent head coach, Ben Tenzer (interim GM) as executive vice president of basketball operations and John Wallace as executive vice president of player rep.
The NBA is currently in the offseason, but superstar Nikola Jokic still plays basketball. He is currently away from the US to represent Serbia in the 2025 Eurobasket.
Prior to the competition, Jokic has been making new moves to fans. He appears to be ready to lead Serbia into a great run.
Among them, Jokic recently visited by Tenzer and Wallace of Latvia for each mozzarto sport.
“Denver Nuggets operatives Ben Tenzer and John Wallace attended training for the Serbian national team.
“Tenzer has served as interim general manager for a while before serving as Vice President of Basketball Operations for the Nuggets, while Wallace is Vice President of Player Development,” reported Mozzart Sport.
As expected, Jokic was preparing to face off against Estonia in the Eurobasket opener.
Following the turbulent 2024-25 season, many wanted to know what Jokic was saying about his future with the Nuggets. When Jokic refused to extend his contract, it didn’t shock the Nuggets’ Top Brass.
In fact, it’s not surprising if Jokic ran out of his current deal. After all, for now, Jokers are unable to sign extensions with non-trade clauses.
But for that to happen, the nuggets need to make sure the 3x NBA MVP is satisfied with the front office actions.
Given that Tenzer and Wallace visited Jokic at 9pm in Latvia, they demonstrate their commitment to ensuring that the 2023 NBA champions feel happy.
After all, even when Djokic plays for Serbia, he remains the most important player for the Nuggets.
