Rishabh Pant suffered an injury while maintaining
The Indian National Cricket Team was hit by a major injury during a Master’s Test match with the English National Cricket Team when Rishabhpants injured the index finger on his left hand.
The incident happened in the first ball, the 34th in the first inning. Payker Prime Minister Jaspri made a full-length delivery, Pope Ollie fished the legside, and the British batter tried to flick it, but missed it completely.
The ball went towards Rishabh Pants. He jumped over to stop the ball, but was unable to collect it and was hit with the index finger on his left hand.
He felt incredible pain after being hit and was treated by a physical therapist. After the over ends he was replaced by Dhruv Jurel as the alternative wicketkeeper for the rest of the game.
However, he hit in both innings of the match despite his pain. In the first innings he scored 74 key balls from 112 balls, and in two innings he scored 12 off 12 before Jofra Archer sent a cut-off wheel before he ran out to Ben Stokes.
I think he’ll be fine in the next Test match – Shubman Gill
Skipper Shubmangill, who spoke to reporters after India’s heartbreaking 22-run loss in his third match against the Three Lions, confirmed that Rishabhupang had no major injuries and was fine for the Manchester Test.
“He went for the scan. I think Rishabh is fine. He didn’t suffer any major injuries. This is good news. I think he’ll be fine in the next Test match,” Shubman Gill said at a post-match press conference after the loss at Lord, as in India’s today quote.
Gill also praised veteran all-rounder Rabindra Jadeha for running in four innings with a 61* run.
“One of the most experienced players on the side and the way he played lowly and partnered was incredible,” Gill said as Revsportz quoted.
We didn’t play well yesterday hour and today’s hour – Shubman Gill
Shubman Gill also criticized the Indian batting unit for being good performance while chasing the target. He said:
“The hour yesterday, the hour today didn’t work. The top order didn’t fire. The 30-40 runs should be scored on the top order. However, this was the first time a top order has failed.
Gil also repeated the fact that India gave too many extras again, ultimately sacrificing the match to them. He said:
“We’re getting better with Fielding, but we’ve made some forced errors. We could have saved some boundaries. But the target was still driven away.”
