Dominic Reyes scored his third straight finish in the Octagon and launched Saturday’s UFC 314 main card in Miami with a knockout of the highlight reel over returning Nikita Krillov.

Krillov comes out and quickly enters Reyes’s face and throws some high kicks, but the first one to land is Reyes, swinging the Ukrainian with his big right hand. It places Krylov on his wobbling legs, but he doesn’t descend.

As Krylov charged in with his lead right hand, Reyes caught him at the counter on the left, which caused him to crash into the canvas. After some ground and pound shots, referee Mark Goddard had no choice but to step in and call for a halt in the first round.

Official Results:Dominick Reyes def. Nikita Krylov via TKO (left and pounds to the ground to the left of the counter) at 2:24 of round 1.
