The latest report suggests Manchester United are making great strides by signing both Ipswich town striker Liam Dellup and Bournemouth winger Antoine Semeño.
The Red Devils have emerged as a clear favourite of these two Premier League stars. This looks like a very exciting development as Reuben Amorim is about to rebuild this team.
It was a nightmare season at Old Trafford, and the club lost again in the league this weekend to 16th place in the table.
Even if Man UTD is in the Europa League Finals and perhaps qualifies for the Clinch Champions League, Amorim will certainly not be under the illusion that major work will be required in the transfer market.
Liam Dellup and Antoine Cementho to Manchester United?
For now, most United fans are planning their weekends and trying to find a way to buy tickets for Chelsea vs Man United, but there’s also inevitably a chat about their transfer goal this summer.
For one, there could be competition with Chelsea for Delap.
Dellup appears to be an upgrade for Stamford Bridge’s Nicholas Jackson, but he also has connections with important club figures, such as Joe Shields.
Still, Delap’s preference now appears to be a move to United.
If Semenyo joins as well, it looks like a much more dangerous attack. Amorim also requires upgrades for flops and non-conformances like Marcus Rashford and Antony.
Can Man United continue to raid talent in the Premier League?
Currently, many other big names are linked to MUFC, and the club appears to be keen to shop in the Premier League.
Matheus Cunha and Adam Wharton are two other well-known players, but Tyler Dibing will definitely be on the market after Southampton’s relegation.
It is still unclear who will be the club’s top priority, but it makes sense to target proven Premier League players as much as possible.
The Red Devils learned the toughest methods before international talents began to look like much worse players, including Britain, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Andreonana.
