Manchester City is reportedly ready to bolster its efforts to sign Real Madrid forward Rodrigo Goes and Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Genluigi Donnaruma.
As they approach the end of the summer transfer period, the well-known duo appears to be Man City’s top priority targets.
According to Fichajes, City is ready to make an EUR 100 million offer to Real for Rodrygo, but PSG keeper Donnarumma costs around EUR 50 million.
If City can sign these 150 million euros, they can really change their fate ahead of the new season. PepGuardiola’s side is undoubtedly facing a bit of a difficult task to improve the Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea sides.
Can Manchester City sign Rodrigo and Donnaruma?
Some fans may know that Fitchee Jess is not exactly considered a first-rate source, but what I’m reporting here isn’t a step by step from what’s covered elsewhere either.
Fabrizio Romano posted a few days ago that he was considering Rodrygo, but of course that’s completely different from preparing to make a big bid for him…
Romano also reported on Donnaruma’s PSG Future, and Italian International has missed the club’s Super Cup clash this week.
See below as Romano revealed that MCFC is keen on Donnarumma.
Alfredo Pedulla also reports on cities that are strongly pursuing Donnarumma in their exclusive report Catch off side.
It’s certainly difficult to see Donnarumma staying at PSG now, as both the player and his agent have spoken publicly about the situation.
Rodrigo may be another case, but it’s fair to say City probably needs a replacement for Savinho, but it doesn’t seem like Rodrigo is guaranteed to play regularly for the Bernabéu this season.
New Madrid boss Xabi Alonso doesn’t use Brazilian International much at the Club World Cup and has other top-class options in attack, like Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Endrick and Arda Guler.
