Veteran forward D Lemond Green reveals what he’s looking forward to from Kawi Leonard in his upcoming games.
The Western Conference for the 2024-25 NBA season was competitive enough to get during the final stretch of the campaign.
Even if only one game is left to play, your ranking may change based on the results of the campaign’s final regular season game day.
Speaking of which, most fans will be glued to the screen and can watch the Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Clippers Battle.
The Draymond Green vs Kawhi Leonard matchup can make or break the game on either team. Of course, Leonard is the leader in crime and defense of his team in court.
Green, meanwhile, is the defensive anchor for the Warriors. That being said, Draymond shared his thoughts on playing Leonard in the final game of the season.
“He looks good, he reaches his spot as usual and he looks incredible. He looks like a cowhi,” Green said.
He also added what he expects from the contest. “Playoff game. Very intense. Two teams fighting for playoff life. I hope it will be a very physical and sophisticated high-level basketball game.”
The LA Clippers ran in a staggering second half of the season to push the top six seeds in the West as they are currently on a seven-game winning streak.
The key reason behind the Clippers’ success is Leonard’s incredible form. In the last seven games, Leonard averaged 25.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
Given that Leonard missed most of the first half of the season, it was expected to see a late season shift from him.
It’s the perfect time for the Clippers. The only question remains whether Leonard will beat the Clippers over the Warriors and get his 50th victory of the season.
