Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green recently shared the incident during the 2025 Eurobasket.
Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Donsic was recently featured in the group stage Eurobasket 2025 game with France.
As usual, Donsic was the dominant force of hardwoods, finishing the night with 39 points, eight rebounds and nine assists while shooting eight-eighth from the field.
Despite Don Sic’s efforts, Slovenia caused a 103-95 loss at the hands of the French basketball team.
With the game already decided, Donsic was shaking hands with the French player before the final buzzer rang.
The Lakers star also did that with French guard Sylvane Francisco.
When Francis shook hands with Don Sic, he also proceeded to finish a wide open layup to add two more points to France’s final tally.
Given that the game was already over, Francisco’s actions were summoned by basketball fans around the world. The list also included Stard Raymond Green from the Golden State Warriors, who threw shade at the French.
“This is why it was important to beat France in Paris! Go to America,” Green wrote in the thread.
Green was clearly referring to Team USA vs France’s gold medal game at the 2024 Paris Games during the US-winning Paris Olympics.
As is clear in the video above, Donsic was naturally annoyed by Francisco’s actions towards the end of the game.
Donsic worked on his defeat against France along with his postgame actions during the postgame meeting.
“I know I lose my temper at times, but I try to help the team. I do all this out of good intentions. No one wants anything bad.
Slovenia is currently at the fifth spot in Group D. This continues to be one of the few teams at Eurobasket 2025.
