Draymond Green praised his Warriors teammate for stepping up to the Rockets in a way that he didn’t expect.
The Golden State Warriors needed all their hands on the deck in Game 1 against the Houston Rockets. And that’s exactly what they got and leads to a great victory.
The Warriors were completely concentrated. The Rockets made things difficult for Golden State, but they kept on hold and won.
Draymond Green has earned many praise for the work he put in his Game 1 victory for the Warriors. And on his part, Draymond downplayed his performance and pointed out that a warrior might be better.
However, after sleeping overnight, Green analyzed the game on his podcast and was surprised that one of his warrior teammates played.

Talking about his podcast, Warriors star Draymond Greene spoke about a great, interactive play from Jimmy Butler with the Houston Rockets.
Green pointed out that he was shocked at how intelligent Jimmy Butler is and how versatile he is when he was in court with the Warriors.
“He said, ‘I became more offensive in the playoffs.’ He does the shots he’s taking, he’s a completely different person…”
“You can put him on the floor. Offensively, we’ve seen his greatness. But defensively, we can play with each other, match up, all these different things.”
“He can protect anyone. He’s strong like hell… I’ve always thought Jimmy was smart. I didn’t know he was this smart.”

Draymond Green isn’t just a Golden State Warriors player who has been enthusiastic about praise for Jimmy Butler.
