Four-time NBA champion Draymond Green is working on the controversial shooting of the league’s Michael Malone.
Denver’s nuggets firing Michael Malone caught everyone off guard. NBA star CJ McCollum described the decision as “troubling” shortly after the decision.
Former star Kevin Garnett also bumped into the Nuggets for not showing Malone the season, but Austin Rivers believes it is a sign of the league’s lack of loyalty.
Malone led the Denver Nuggets and won the NBA Championship just two years ago. And now, current Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green criticizes the Nuggets for their decision.
Four-time champion Draymond Green claimed he has always supported Michael Malone from afar, and sent a message to Nuggets owner Josh Kroenke to tell him.
Speaking about his podcast, Green explained that he sent a message with Croenke early in Malone’s tenure in Denver.
“I’ve texted Josh Croenke before, meaning years ago… They had a short playoff exit. “Don’t be fooled by the noise. I think it’s the Mike Malone guy.
“And certainly they were going to win the championship with your guy, so my foreboding was right.”
In response to Malone’s firing, Greene was unimpressed and denounced the Denver Nuggets player.
With Malone claiming he lost the locker room with his nonsense approach, Green speculated that the Nuggets players lacked the strength that helped his Warriors team win four titles.
He states: “But seeing him being fired, you see the report, you see people tired of his voice, you’re tired of this kind of thing with his hard coach, and unfortunately, you get tired of hearing the voices that have become a winner, so people don’t win.
“I say that as a voice that some people get bored from time to time, it helps lead to winners. I understand why you can get bored of it. I fully understand.
“One thing I know as a leader is that people get bored of my voice at times. Frankly, I don’t give S___.
“It makes perfect sense to me to hear people say, ‘I’m bored of Mike Malone’s hard style,’ because I know what it takes to lead to winning.
“People get tired of being pushed, which is why people don’t win over and over.”
It was reported that Nuggets are ready to fire Malone before the All-Star break before a winning streak delayed plans.
But wielding x in three games before the playoffs was a totally ruthless move and hopeless move from an organization that had decided to shake things up.
The Warriors and Nuggets can still face off in the postseason if passes cross, but each team must book their own passes.
