Toprak Razgatlioglu may have been crowned WorldSBK rider at the final race of 2025 in Jerez, but Ducati could still call itself ‘champion’ at the end of the year.

Nicolo Brega’s three wins at Jerez were enough for the Bologna brand to be crowned World Superbike Manufacturers’ Champion for the fourth consecutive year and 21st time in total.

Gigi Dall’Igna, General Manager of Ducati Corse, said: “We are very happy to end the last season of the current Panigale V4 R, which has been recognized as the most competitive bike in the championship for four consecutive years, and the fact that five private and factory teams have chosen to ride on this bike shows how highly valued the Ducati project is and how well it is recognized outside the box.”

“Although we faced new circumstances this year, the results achieved by Aruba.it Racing Ducati with Nicolo (Bulega) and Alvaro (Bautista), as well as Barni Spark Racing Team, Pata Go Eleven, MGM Bonovo Racing, Motocorsa Racing, Marc VDS Racing and their riders demonstrate the stability of the performance of the Panigale V4 R.

“A special thank you to all the men and women of Ducati Corse. They all make me proud and we look forward to launching the next generation of Panigale together.”

The 2026 Panigale V4 R is a new update to the existing bike, adding a new double-sided swingarm, engine internal changes, and new aerodynamics.

The bike has already been tested by riders such as Nicolo Brega and Alvaro Bautista, and will return to the track in Tuesday’s (October 21) post-race Jerez test, where new Aruba.it Racing signing Iker Lecuona will get his first taste of the updated Panigale.
