The UFC has five new fighter jets.
Tuesday night, week 2 Candidate Series Going to UFC Apex in Las Vegas, with a full 180-year 180 members from week one to 180, UFC CEO Dana White only offered two contracts after a disappointing fight night. Instead, on Tuesday, White offered contracts to all five winners, even noting that the loser of the main event is the finalist to call if someone escapes from a future match.
In the evening’s main event, Jose Delano wore a masterclass of performances and dominated Manuel Ekirogitto for 15 minutes, heading for a big unanimous decision victory. In this season’s contender series by matchmaker Shawn Shelby, perhaps welcomed as a “UFC-enabled” fighter, Delano showed why expectations were high for him, tweaking Exposito with a diverse and dangerous strike game. Exposito proved durable, so Delano couldn’t get a finish, but was impressed with Dana White enough to win a contract.
Evening co-main event, Cam Lowston Finally I got it Candidate Series Wins, stops Brandon Holmes in the first round. Lowston was going to compete. Candidate Series In 2023, he was kicked out of the game. He got another crack in 2024, losing to Torres Finney by decision. But 2025 was finally the year for the City Kickboxing Fighter, who lighted Holmes with a sharp punch and won an early halt and a UFC contract.
In the third evening match, Louis Lee Scott finished Kaushik Saikumal with a very enjoyable scrap. The undefeated British came out aggressively, but were quickly defended by Saikumar’s offensive grappling attack. Scott managed to overcome multiple leglock attempts and slowly took over momentum in his own grappling and strike game. In the third round, Scott took over, overwhelming Saikumar and earned a halt. Scott actually missed the weight for this match and came at half a pound, and Dana White took him on missions on top of it, but he still offered him a contract.
In his second evening game, former NFL player Josh Hokitt broke Gilharmel Uriel with a concentrated wrestling attack on his way to the second round of stops. Early in the match, Uriel showed a decent takedown defense, but he kept Hokit and his relentless wrestling attack at bay. At the end of the first round, Hokit finally took the top position and slammed the shot. When the second round began, Hokitt bulldozed him and finished Uriel in a short time.
In the evening opening match, Ramilo Zimenez remained undefeated, running through Tommy Cuozzi in just three minutes. Jimenez was a massive favorite outing, proving why, biting Quazzi with a body shot before giving him a big punch and hurting him. As he smelled blood, Jimenez poured it out, winning a stop victory and a contract from Dana White.
