Dwyane Wade explains the wrong place using Lebron James and Luka Doncic while JJ Redick cleans up the Lakers gentleman with the hands of the Timberwolves.
The Los Angeles Lakers season ended abruptly in the first round of the NBA playoffs. The Minnesota Timber Wolves sent LA packing all of the five games.
The lack of size and poor display at key moments by Lebron James, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves led to this early Lakers exit. Anthony Edwards and his teammates were also heartfelt, but there was more expectation from the third seed.
Director JJ Redick is on the receiving end of serious criticism. Kendrick Perkins blows up him by playing Maxi Clever, despite the big man almost returning from his injuries.
Brian Windhorst shared Reggie Miller’s moment with Redick. This also led to the rookie coach being accused of “childish behaviour.” And while these criticisms were certainly colorful, Dwyane Wade offered constructive insights.
JJ was widely called after Game 4 of the series, and during that time he made history in the NBA. He played the same five-man lineup throughout the second half.
As expected, the Lakers had exhausted steam by the fourth quarter. LeBron scored zero points, Minnesota sealed Clutch’s victory and put the series out of the Lakers grasp.
Speaking at the timeout, Wade said:
“LeBron” takes two or three, you don’t need much”, “Luke takes five or six”, but you have two great playmakers and a great conductor. ”
Wade also had something to say about Anthony Edwards.
When it rains it pours out and JJ can’t seem to be able to take a break at this time. He praised the Lakers for finishing with the third seed, which now seems like a distant memory.
Magic Johnson gave some wise points about Reddick’s decision-making during the series, and now former Denver Nuggets coach George Carl was shot directly by him.
“My previous coaching experience is important to be a head coach in the NBA,” Carl posted on X.
The season is over and the noise around Reddick and Lakers will decrease as the NBA playoffs continue. However, it’s safe to say that his first postseason experience left behind some important experiences for JJ to move forward.
