Arsenal is reportedly ready to invest as much as 200 million euros in two very ambitious transfers for the offensive this summer.
Gunners will need to make changes this summer after a disappointing season in which injuries revealed a lack of depth in that area of the team.
Mikel Arteta overplayed Bukayo Saka and Kai Herberts, both of which missed many games, but Gabriel Jesus was generally more likely to get injured during his time at Emirates Stadium.
It certainly makes sense for Arsenal to spend a lot on players who can take them to another level, and it appears that their two main targets have been identified.
Arsenal is lined up with Alexander Isaac and Nico Williams
This is easier said than done, but according to Fichages, Arsenal appears to be ready to spend up to 200 million euros to sign Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac and Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams.
ISAK is a world-class performer at Newcastle this season, scoring 24 goals and contributing five assists in all competitions.
Swedish International combines pace, strength, skill and clinical finish to make him one of the most amazing all-around centre forwards in the game.
Meanwhile, Williams shines in Laliga after taking on the lead role in Spain’s Euro 2024 victory last summer.
The 22-year-old is truly a handful for the fullback and could be something that Arsenal needs to not rely too much on inconsistent duos Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.
Williams’ presence can also help Saka of other aspects. Because that means there’s someone else in the AFC who can at least get closer to matching the quality he brings from that side.
It will likely reduce the chances of him having to remove his workload from Saka next season and play 90 minutes in all games and perhaps save him from further injury issues.
