Last night’s UFC Hall of Fame ceremony served as a platform to honor the legendary MMA Mark Kerr inducted into the MMA, as well as a platform to preview the much-anticipated film. Smashing Machinestarring Johnson and Emily Blunt.

When Mark Kerr took his legitimate position among the biggest MMA, the spotlight also shined on the team behind upcoming films inspired by his life. Rock and Emily Brandt walked the red carpet with Kerr, sharing heartfelt words about the man and a journey that brought them all together. Regarding the importance of celebrating the legend of MMA, Iwa said:

“It was important to me to respect Mark for the life he lived in. What kind of opportunity is it for Mark to recognize the paved Mark and the path he had paved… Mark said something to me. He said, “Accept.” Yes, that’s a big deal and I’m very proud. ”

Emily is dull after discovering the struggle between MMA and humans.

Emily Blunt, who plays Dawnstaples, is a partner of Mark Carr, and his current wife spoke in the film with praise and deep respect about her journey into the world of MMA. When asked if she is a UFC fan now, Blunt replied:

“Now, I think respect and respect for me is fair. I don’t even know how to form words about it. It really hurts the people who learned a lot about it, immersed themselves in that world, played the person on the edge of many of the things that come to that world. Then the fallout, what happens afterwards, was so appealing to me on a win-losing, on a human level.”

Brandt’s words highlighted the emotional and psychological challenges faced by fighters and their loved ones. Smashing Machine. She continued:

“I thought a lot about fear, that was the pressure of stepping into the ring and not knowing that someone could hurt you so badly that you lost, and what happens after the loss and then you need to win.

Responsibility for true stories

Both Locke and Emily Brandt emphasized the responsibility they felt by portraying real relationships with real people. Rock noted the intimacy developed alongside Kerr and his family throughout the filmmaking process. Blunt’s approach to her role was characterized by her desire to respect empathy and the truth, she said:

“It’s a responsibility, it’s an incredible responsibility. It’s a real man, a real woman, a real relationship, a real life, a real life, ups and downs, a demon and an angel.”

The rock also reflects the broader impact of Kerr’s story, especially for audiences in the Pacific region. He explained:

“The key to Mark is, yes, he was an MMA legend, pioneer and one of the Godfathers, and had this incredible career that ended beautifully tonight with this incredible approval.

The film The Smashing Machine is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 3, 2025
