England coach John Mitchell warned that his team “can’t afford to get bored of basics” after winning the 31st Six Nations game on Saturday.
Red roses are the dominant aspect of women’s rugby. They have won six consecutive Six Nations titles and will have the opportunity to win their first World Cup when they host tournaments this summer.
Despite Wales scoring the first points of Saturday’s game at Cardiff, Mitchell’s side has now run with 11 tries with 67-12 thrashing.
“We didn’t start very well, but we grew in the second half and built up some good pressure,” Mitchell told the BBC.
“We are truly pleased with the way we responded to what Wales did to us.
“I think it’s an aspect that we can’t get bored of basics because our basics are poor, disappointing us and bringing the opposition into the game.”
England will travel to face Cork’s Ireland on April 12th in the next Six Nations fixture.
