Argentina scored their second attempt on a halftime stroke. The stewards couldn’t deal with the chips at the backline for England as the ball nicked the post and Mendy kindly fell to take a 17-14 lead.
Ford’s penalty was a reward for the intense English pressure as he leveled his score early in the second half.
Argentina was constantly under pressure as she had difficulty with her exit from her 22, and Pepper broke and baited Van Pluto Friette to stolen the victory of death.
