Replacement Scrum half jack vamp pleot friette scored the attempt as England scored a try in the final minute as England claimed a 22-17 victory over hosts Argentina at Estadio Vicentennario in San Juan on Saturday.

Argentina led 17-14 at halftime, and despite England’s pressure at the age of 22, George Ford’s penalty was the only point Vampleto Friett scored from a small break by Guy Pepper to a run in the first 39 minutes of the second term.

Centre Cebu Atkinson and fullback Freddie Steward have won a memorable series with Trice as England, without the usual touring player with the Australian British & Ireland Lions.

England lost Hooker and co-captain Jamie George on the morning of the match after he was called to the Lions team.

“We ultimately found our way. There were many opportunities at 22, but we couldn’t get past the line. I’m proud of the boy,” Ford said.

“We love our fight, our sense of unity and it shows how much we care. There were some great things. We should have scored more tries, but the attitude of the group is great.”

Centres Lucio Chinti and Wing Ignacio Mendy had to survive England’s intense pressure in the second half, crossing over Argentina’s score, which at least failed to see the game in the draw.

“We weren’t good enough. We have to be honest with ourselves, and it’s a shame we couldn’t win.

Argentina’s No. 8 Pablo Matera became the most capped player in his country’s history with his 111th appearance, but was marked with a second half yellow card.

Tourists got off to a fast start and tried within four minutes as Ford’s pinpoint crossfield kick allowed Atkinson to score.

When Ben Curry was punished with high tackle, the UK was reduced to 14 players, and while he was off the field, scrum half Simon Benitez Cruz grabbed the loose ball and released Cinti to dot down.

England showed excellent handling skills to score a second try as they pulled the Argentine defender into a narrow formation and allowed the steward to cant in the corner.

Argentina scored their second attempt on a halftime stroke. The stewards couldn’t deal with the chips at the backline for England as the ball nicked the post and Mendy kindly fell to take a 17-14 lead.

Ford’s penalty was a reward for the intense English pressure as he leveled his score early in the second half.

Argentina was constantly under pressure as she had difficulty with her exit from her 22, and Pepper broke and baited Van Pluto Friette to stolen the victory of death.
