Leeds United is one of the clubs that is strongly linked to the transfer move of Manchester City’s talented young offensive midfielder James McAtee.
The 22-year-old, who can play in the heart and in the widest outside, struggled to establish himself as a regular on the first team at Etihad Stadium and was able to leave quickly.
According to trusted Leeds journalist Jack Gaugan, McAtee will be able to leave Man City this summer for a fee of around £25 million.
It is still unclear whether McAtee will leave permanently if he lends out City, but Leeds appears to have an exciting opportunity here.
James McAtee looks like the ideal signature for Leeds United this summer
Leeds has just won promotion to the Premier League, so they will need a summer transfer window to prepare for a living on top flight.
All three newly promoted clubs with the season ended will not be easy for Leeds to survive this season.
Lufc can do well to snap Mcatee if possible. He has already gained some experience at the highest level, but also has a bright future.
England Under 21 International will certainly do well for Leeds.
It would be difficult for McAtee to play more frequently on Pep Guardiola’s side. So this kind of movement looks perfect for all involved parties.
