Immanuel Feyi-Waboso took a step forward to returning to action after being included in England’s latest training team, but also had the first call to Rekeiti Ma’asi-White.
The 33-man player team does not include Bath or Northampton saints, or players selected for the British and Ireland Lions.
The two-day training camp group meeting will be available to watch some of the group’s fringe players ahead of their match against France XV at Twickenham on June 21, and then head coach Steve Boursewick ahead of their summer tours in Argentina and the US.
Feyi-Waboso is included after seeing him rule out the Six Nations and missed the Lions’ choice after he had shoulder surgery at the beginning of the year. However, his inclusion is encouragement news and offers him the opportunity to prove his fitness if the Lions Tour spot opens.
Sale Sharks ‘Center Ma’asi-White gets a nod as one of the team’s few new faces, including Joe Batley, Richard Capstick, Arthur Clark, Emeka Ilione, Jack Kenningham, Charlie Atkinson, Seb Atkinson, Joe Carpenter, and Tobias Elliott.
