Enzo Maresca admits he made a mistake in his recent defeat
The Italian also mentioned his relationship with Chelsea supporters, recalling a pivotal moment from last season.
“I think it was last season with Southampton when fans began singing, ‘We’re back with Chelsea’. If they sing it and one day they sing my name regularly, I would be happy. ” He reflected.
For Maresca, fostering connections with his fans remains an important part of his vision as he aims to restore consistency and pride on the pitch.
With a mix of recent results, Chelsea lost four of their last five games, reducing to 10 men. Maresca admitted that he was still adapting to such a task.
