Shaquille O’Neill wanted to quit within the NBA after the incident with Charles Berkley.
19 years after the NBA, Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal moved into the role of sports analyst inside the NBA show.
Since debuting on the 2011 show, O’Neal has become a fan favorite thanks to his unfiltered take and hilarious chemistry with his co-host.
Shaq is usually seen vantelling with NBA legend Charles Barkley on the show as the two stars have formed an unlikely friendship.
Basketball fans have become accustomed to pulling each other’s legs in the program. But Ernie Johnson recently spoke unprecedented stories about two NBA legends.
On the Dan Patrick Show, Johnson revealed: “I’ve seen Shack get hot, and one night I got mad because Chuck spent so much time.
“The next day he didn’t talk to me. You’ll see him during the show, ask him questions and get a three-word answer,” he added.
This was not an isolated incident, as Johnson revealed that the great Aristotle was extremely sensitive.
“There have been a few times when he’s a little sensitive. I don’t know how angry he is, but he chops up a little and you’re pulling your teeth.”
Given that Shaq doesn’t think twice before calling players in the NBA, it’s amazing to know that when he’s on the receiver he doesn’t like it.
Additionally, O’Neal is notorious for pulling pranks and making life difficult for his teammates while he was in the NBA.
O’Neill has been mad at the same time, but Johnson reveals that Berkley is the person who barely gets mad at the show.
“I don’t know I’ve really seen Chuck be so mad. Chuck comes in the same way every night.
Whether Barkley likes or dislikes winning the NBA, it’s always good to know that he wants to have fun on set.
That’s something Shak should learn from his longtime co-host. Otherwise, it would not be surprising if some cracks began to open between O’Neill and the other crew in the future.
