Chelsea will be busy signing and selling this summer. One of the players falling into the latter category is Noni Maduke, who is not considered one of the key players that the club boss wants to hold under any circumstances.
Maduke joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023, and after a difficult start, things were looking for him in the first half of the current campaign. In the Premier League, he was a regular starter and was able to accumulate seven goals and three assists over 23 appearances.
However, the threat of a new winger, signed by Chelsea in the summer, threatens the location of Madueke, and AC Milan wants to take advantage of this.
AC Milan hopes to sign Noni Madueke this summer
As reported by Fichejes, Milan wants to negotiate a deal for Madueke, who is willing to pay 40 million euros with Chelsea in the summer. The two clubs have a good relationship with Christian Purisic and Joan Felix, which could be another case of players swapping Stamford Bridge for Sansillo.
It is said that Milan is confident that he will enter into a deal with Chelsea at the aforementioned price. If so, it’s no surprise that Bruce will spin and offer to Rafael Leo, who is said to be expensive on the list of transfers.
It will be interesting to see whether Chelsea are trying to keep Maduce for at least another season, or whether they have decided to win cash to raise funds for their summer signature. At the age of 23, he is a player and a future for now, but his future appears to be far from Stamford Bridge.
