Newcastle United are reportedly ready to bid to complete the transfer of Crystal Palace defender Mark Guech this summer.
The final tickets are still available for the Champions League Finals!
According to The Telegraph, the Magpies seem to be in a strong position to land the best targets with Guehi among them.
The source said in the report, “It’s all in place and all the work done on the player is finished, so you have to press the button to complete those transactions. We know who we want.”
According to The Telegraph, Newcastle was also on Guehi last summer, so it’s not too surprising that he’s expected to push hard for him again this year.
Newcastle United are preparing for a big summer
Newcastle appears to be ready to have a big summer after a great season when he won the Carabao Cup final and competed in the Champions League.
In addition to turning to Guehi, Telegraph reports also name Brentford Forward Bryan Mbeumo one of the club’s top targets.
Cameroon International is one of the Premier League’s most international attackers, so if Newcastle can pull it off, it would be some statements by Newcastle.
Also, Guehi appears to be a great addition that can help Eddie Howe move this team further.
Mark Guehee to Newcastle or Chelsea?
Guehi has also been linked recently as a Chelsea target by The Sun and others, so it could be interesting to watch.
Chelsea has also returned to the Champions League, but won the conference league final last night to make the season a success.
Both Newcastle and Chelsea have clearly captivated Guech’s destinations, so if they decide to leave Selhurst Park this summer, it doesn’t look like an easy option for England International.
