According to Christian Folk in his daily briefing column, Chelsea is looking for a clear favorite for now in the transfer race for Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens.
Speaking exclusively Catch off side In this week’s column, Folk provided insight into the situation with Gitens before summer.
The talented young British seem to want to return to the Premier League after a spell in the Bundesliga.
Fork also says that Chelsea is the most likely option for the Gitens at this point, but the good news is that his asking price has been reduced from 100 million euros to 50 million euros.
Chelsea has supported Jamie Gittens’ major transfer
Discussing the situation at Gitens, Falk said:
“The problem is, how much money the club is ready to pay, Dortmund has already cut prices, which is between 100 million and 50 million euros, because players don’t fit into Nico Kobak’s system.
“That’s why players themselves will have a very good advantage in their movements. The Gitens’ dream is to move to the Premier League.”
Gittens appears to have a bright future in the game, and he appears to fit the Chelsea strategy to sign elite young players from around the world.
The 20-year-old will certainly get the opportunity to play regularly at Stamford Bridge. It might be ideal for the next stage of his development.
Dortmund appears to be ready to let Gittens go this summer, and this all looks like a positive update to the CFC.
However, I imagine there will be other clubs in the Gittens race as well, but football insiders also tie BVB youths together Liverpool.
