Nicdali is a multifaceted figure known for his work as a comic book writer, MMA fighter and model. She is preparing for her upcoming match against Dania Cruises at the Med City Fighting Championships on May 31st.
Nikudari’s interview
In a recent interview with Lowkick MMA, Nicdali discussed her diverse career paths that bridge the world of combat sports, comics and modeling. She spoke about ongoing training regimens and more. See the full interview below:
“Since I returned in 2023, my training has been different. I’m a completely mixed martial artist now, but I used to lack the ground game, and before that I was mostly a blue belt.
“I moved to South Florida. I’m going to go in my second year. I started training with Gillian Robertson and Din Thomas. It really changed my game. Just having a UFC legend at Din Thomas, having her as a training partner really brings me to new heights.” She is also inspired by her training partner. “She’s one of the hardest working fighters I’ve ever seen in my life. I asked her, “I have a schedule, I’m stuck with it. And I’m like, ‘Amazing’.” ”
Being bullied
“My father and I were looking at the box of Oscar de la Jolla. He was talking about how he was bullied as a young man and how it was just sucked in. I was bullied as a young man. Early experiences in kickboxing also shaped her path. “My mother put me in kickboxing. I tried to bully the bully again. And then I ended up kicking her as she was coming towards me. She collapsed and never tried anything again.”
Comic book writing
Nikudal’s passion for comic books is evident not only in her writing, but also in the way she integrates her martial arts experiences into her storytelling. “I was always a little different to the other kids. On my way to my childhood home, there’s a cemetery and I tell my mother every day, “I want to go to that park.” She finally said, “The park is for the dead.” I learned about vampires.
She also described the creative process behind her comic book characters. “I really wanted to create comic book characters that continue to appear in my dreams and fantasies.”
modeling
“I was like an ugly duck. When I was younger, people told me, ‘You can’t do that.’ I started modeling when I was eight years old, and if you want to do something like that, I’m really working hard to show off my hard work.
As she prepares for a match with Dania Cruz, Nikdali continues to build her profile in both combat and creative fields. “I’m proud to be the only fan athlete.”
