Recently, there have been many questions about the situation of William Saliba at Arsenal. It’s normal to see a lot of interest in Saliba’s future, as this is one of the best defenders in the world.
What I’m hearing at this point is that Arsenal still has the ball on their court in Saliba’s deal and the players are talking publicly about how happy he is at Arsenal. Mikel Arteta confirmed his feelings too.
But now, negotiations must be made between Arsenal and Saliba over a new contract. He is on a contract until 2027, so it’s not an emergency situation, but Arsenal needs to be truly persuasive about the success of his future project in terms of winning the financial package and title.
