Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa is likely to leave the club this summer, with Naples likely to become his destination, according to Alfredo Pedra.
Write exclusively for him Catch off side In the column, Italian journalists explained that Chiesa had previously been interested when Naples was still in Juventus.
On that occasion, Chiesa was to move from Juve to Liverpool, but things didn’t go well for the 27-year-old during his time at Anfield.
Pedulla says Chiesa could once again become a Napoli option as he is trying to broadly strengthen this summer after solving the future of manager Antonio Conte.
Federico Chiesa leaves Liverpool for Naples?
Chiesa may have struggled to calmly influence his time in the Premier League, but he had previously demonstrated his top-class ability in Italian football.
Perhaps the move to Napoli is what he needs, especially as Conte did well to revive the careers of players who have previously experienced difficult times.
Discussing the situation at Chiesa, Pedulla said: “For Naples, it feels like they’re preparing for an explosive transfer window. After investing 140 million euros around last season, the club is in a position to spend more.
“It is a signature that symbolizes the beginning of the new Conte era, but he is not the only one. Among the many names, look out for Sam Beukema of Bologna.
“Then there’s Federico Chiesa, one of Conte’s longtime favorites. Naples had already tried to sign him the previous year, but Juventus had a deal with Liverpool. However, his English adventures have not gone as he wanted.
Liverpool is already ax chiesa?
Chiesa only participated last summer, but it certainly makes sense that his future is already a big question.
Italian International looked a bit of an astonishing signature when he joined. Because it didn’t seem like the Reds needed another offensive player urgently.
And that’s proven, and Chiesa rarely appears on the side of Arne Slot as there’s a lot of competition from Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota and more.
Since the LFC imagines it can be done by shifting out some players before making a new signature, Chiesa makes sense as someone who can make a path.
