West Ham United’s Summer 2024 Signature Guido Rodriguez is scheduled to hold an exit meeting next week.
West Ham United are preparing for a very important transfer window. Graham Potter, who was in charge of the club earlier this year, is keen to bring in players who can help him implement his ideas better. He is not happy with the team he inherited from Julen Lopetegui and wants to do wholesale in the summer.
But before Potter can sign a player, he needs to raise money. As a result, the hammer is set to sanction the resignation of players who fall in order. According to a report from the Noticias River, Guido Rodriguez could be leaving the club, and he is scheduled to hold an exit meeting next week.
Guido Rodriguez was mediocre
The Argentine midfielder joined the Hammers last summer on a free transfer. His consistent performance at Real Betis convinced Lopetegui that he could strengthen his midfield. However, the move did not work for either party.
Following the looting of the Spanish manager and the arrival of Potter, the defensive midfielder went further down the pecking order. He only played one minute of Premier League football on his final eight outings. The 31-year-old won first-team action over 1,000 minutes on his 21 appearances.
His contract with the London Club is running until 2027, but he is all set to leave the club just a year after joining them. He’s not Potter’s plan, and Hammer is ready to win cash for him.
Rodriguez is now set to secure a return to his former club, River Plate. The Argentine outfit is pushing him to re-sign and hopes to add him to the team before the summer Club World Cup. All of them are scheduled to begin negotiations with the London Club next week.
Riverplate wants to pass it to the line after he dropped out of the 31-year-old dropout at West Ham United. However, given his £12.8 million valuation, it may be difficult for the Buenos Aires side to come.
