Liverpool is one of the most active Premier League clubs in the summer transfer period.
Following their Premier League title win, they showed their ambition and intentions this summer by providing manager Arne Slot with the right resources and platforms, and repeating success again next season.
Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez have arrived at the club this summer, with players like Jarrel Quansah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Caoimhin Kelleher leaving.
Their transfer business is far from what they are, as far as incoming calls and leaving.
The Reds are closely linked to Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac while Louis Diaz approaches his move to Bayern Munich.
Liverpool agrees to the Louis Diaz Sale
Financial expert Stephen Bourson praised Liverpool for his efforts to sell Diaz this summer by garnering an incredibly high fee from Bayern Munich for Colombian attackers.
Bayern reportedly agreed to pay £65.2 million to the Premier League winner, and Bolson feels Liverpool has been able to cover Bayern with the transfer saga.
He told a soccer insider: “Players want to go. Obviously they’ll get mega fees for players of his age.
“So I’m amazed that Bayern Munich wants to make this deal, but they clearly do.
“It’s great for Liverpool and I think it’s good for players.
“I say it’s bad for Bayern Munich, but they want him. I like the players.
“He’s obviously not everyone’s tea, but I really don’t understand how they came to that price.”
It is expected that more players will leave the red
The “great” profits at Liverpool’s Diaz are centered on spurring the next wave of reinforcements, rather than just a sensible business move.
They are now trying to reinvest that money into their teams and add more depth and quality.
Darwin Nunes, Harvey Elliott and Federico Chiesa will be able to get out next to Anfield’s door this summer, with the hierarchy working to raise funds through the sale of new signatures.
