Liverpool’s interest in Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac refuses to leave.
The Magpie Striker was absent from their team on his first match of the season, an away trip to Villa Park.
Liverpool began the season with a 4-2 victory over Bournemouth at Anfield, but Eddie Howe’s Newcastle failed to score against Aston Villa in the opening game.
Isaac’s future is still uncertain, and since giving its first bid on Swedish international attackers, the Reds have taken a quieter, more careful approach.
That doesn’t mean they’ve finished their pursuit of the 25-year-old striker, but they want to see if the magpies are willing to do business before making any important offers.
Hau has spoken out about the forwarding saga, claiming he wants to see a resolution on this issue soon so that all parties can move on.
Experts claim that Liverpool will sign Alexander Isaac
Financial affairs expert Stephen Bolson claims that Liverpool can sign the attackers after a match against Newcastle United next week.
In a conversation with a soccer insider, he said:
“We now probably had a bet, if I was probably betting, Liverpool submitted a £125 million deal, a massive add-on, a not-easy deal, and it took place after the Newcastle V Liverpool game and joined Liverpool.
“But it depends more on the hardball that Newcastle wants to play as an organization than anything else.
“I think Liverpool is in a good position when it comes to players because he has been very difficult for Newcastle.
“I think if we saw it at the beginning of the summer, Liverpool said they had to pay nearly £150 million.
“If he was going now, I think they’d successfully cut £10-15 million in his fees.”
Alexander Isaac is not interested in playing with Magpies
Liverpool fans will prefer this update from Bourson, but only time will tell if that is true or not.
Isak repeatedly made it clear that he didn’t want to play again for the Magpie and didn’t want to integrate into the team.
He makes his final decision to leave the club, which gives Liverpool the advantage of negotiating to sign him.
Merseyside club current striker Hugo Ekitike scored, assisted, scored and provided in his league debut. Perhaps he would be the only person to be disappointed if Liverpool were to sign ISAK this summer.
