Christian Folk reports that Arsenal duo Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Torosad are the subject of Bayern Munich’s interest.
Written in CF Bayern Insider’s latest column, Falk claimed that contacts were made between Bayern and Arsenal Management over both Martinelli and Trossard.
This may be a concern for gunners as there are many fans who want to see these players stay.
But at the same time, this appears to be a promising opportunity to help Arsenal raise funds through player sales and sign them elsewhere.
Arsenal is particularly engaged in the Viktor Gyokeres Transfer deal, according to YouTube’s Fabrizio Romano, but he is also interested in Rodrigo from Real Madrid.
Arsenal duo to Bayern Munich?
Discussing the situation with Trossard and Martinelli, Falk said: “Leandro Trossard is a new idea. Gabriel Martinelli has been on the list for a long time. Bayern has been in touch with the Arsenal Winger management, while the club has been in touch with the Trosad management team.”
Since Trossard isn’t getting younger, it may be a good time for the AFC to consider a decent offer for him before his worth drops.
Meanwhile, Martinelli could probably move at a larger fee, but the Brazilian winger is also a player who can still offer a lot in the coming years, even if his form last year or so was just a little below the previous highs.
Arsenal will take risks with Martinelli or Trossard Sales
We already know how hard Arsenal struggled with offense as injuries piled up last season.
With no one on the current team managing double numbers for league goals, Mikel Arteta will likely need as many options as possible next season.
Martinelli and Trossard are by no means perfect, but they are great options for covering on the bench or injured players.
