Piastri moved ahead of Max Verstappen in the 2025 F1 driver ranking, following his command drive in Bahrain. Piastri controlled the race from pole position and won the second race of the year.
This means that Piastri is only 3 points from Norris after the fourth round of 2025. Verstappen sits third with 69 points after a difficult weekend for Red Bull.
