Hello to friends Catch off sideI’m here to provide you with updates on the status of Chelsea’s summer transfer business.
Chelsea’s summer transfer window has become as busy as the pitch, with the club trying to turn the team into fatigue.
The current main focus of the Blues is not to bring in new faces, but to create a room for top targets, both financially and within the team.
This approach is not surprising given the waves of arrival early in the window. Between June and early July, Chelsea made several signatures to encourage the need to balance the book and make squad size easier to manage.
Chelsea are ready to sell more this summer
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Armando Broja, Lesley Ugochukwu, João Félix and more are all on the way, and they are already on sale. However, more departures are expected in the coming weeks.
Currently, the one who is firmly on the exit list is Nicholas Jackson, who scored 13 goals for the Blues last season. The striker’s time at Stamford Bridge appears to be coming to an end, with Chelsea working closely with his representatives to find the right move.
Christopher Nekunk’s situation is similar, but the French are not expected to appear in the blues this season, and efforts are being made to quickly secure their next destination.
Once these departures are sorted out, Chelsea will move forward two main targets: Alejandro Garnacho and Zabi Simons.
Next to Stamford Bridge Agenda: Garnacho and Simmons
The agreement on personal terms with Garnacho is already in place, and the club is ready to formally approach Manchester United once squad space is available.
For Xavi Simons, the talk goes further, with Chelsea continuing their discussion in the foregoing terms with RB Leipzig, but has yet to achieve a formal club-to-club contract, as players’ sales remain a requirement before negotiating transfer fees.
Garnacho and Simons are both considered blues’ prioritization signatures, but for now, Chelsea’s summer plans rely on completing their outgoing deals before making a decisive move in the market.
Report: Club officials will contact Chelsea about a potential €65 million transfer agreement
