Fabrizio Romano reports that Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac is not on the club’s team due to a pre-season trip to Singapore.
Swedish International has not travelled with other teammates amid uncertainty about the long-term future at St. James Park.
ISAK is strongly linked to Liverpool, and Romano recently claimed on its YouTube channel that players are leaving their doors open even if the Reds worked to sign Hugo Ekitike as well.
Charles Watts also said Catch off side The Isaac was the target of Arsenal’s dream, even if the deal didn’t look particularly realistic.
See below as Romano posted about Romano coming out of Newcastle’s preseason team…
Romano said, and this apparently has nothing to do with the transfer:
Alexander Isaac’s transfer is certainly not possible for Liverpool.
Despite its link to Liverpool, it appears that Isak has done nothing to drive the move, based on what has been reported so far.
Still, the 25-year-old is likely to grab some headlines with these developments, and it will be interesting to see if it will develop into something else.
At the same time, Newcastle will ensure that they do everything they can to maintain Isaac, which is proven too expensive for Liverpool.
However, the Reds spent a lot of money this summer.
Meanwhile, Arsenal is approaching Victor’s gyoker, according to Athletic, so it seems unlikely that they will invest a lot of money in another striker.
