Fabrizio Romano has provided the latest updates on the future of three key players in Bournemouth ahead of the summer, including Liverpool target Dean Huijsen.
The Reds are alongside Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle United in targeting Huijsen, which is available for £50 million due to the release clause of his contract.
This is based on Romano’s latest in the daily briefing video report, where Italian journalists are also debating with Huissen’s Cherry teammates Milos Kerquez and Antoine Semeño about what will happen next.
Huijsen and Kerkez are both Liverpool’s targets, and it appears that the Merseyside giants have news of encouragement.
Dean Huysen will prefer to stay in the Premier League
Despite his connections with Real Madrid and interest in Bayern Munich, Huijsen appears to be leaning towards staying in the UK now.
This could be a huge boost for the LFC. The LFC can take the top young defender and eventually replace the aging Virgil Vandic.
“Bornemouth players are often the most discussed names on the market. Recently, we’ve heard a lot about what the future can do for them this summer,” Romano said.
“Indeed, the most interesting case is one of Dean Huyssen. As revealed more than two months ago, he has a £50 million release clause and plans to leave Bournemouth in the summer.
“I’m interested in Real Madrid. Yes. There have been a lot of rumors from Spain, but at this point, Real Madrid has yet to decide whether they want to invest in centre-backs.
“So at this point, Dean Huysen is leaning internally into movement in the Premier League.
“He is expected to continue in the Premier League, but he’s another club. I’m interested from a few clubs…
“Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle, Arsenal – these four are certainly in the race. Bayern calls it weeks and weeks, but another Premier League club looks like the most realistic destination.”
