Fabrizio Romano delivered two “Go Here” posts from Chelsea last night as Bruce approached a double transfer raid in Brighton.
The Chelsea exterior is set to sign Facundo Buonanotte on loan from the Seagulls. The 20-year-old Argentina will take part in an interesting deal without any purchase options, but the West London giant will have a chance to match players’ future bids.
The Chelsea owner has also invested in Giulio Enciso, but he is considered the future signature of the CFC and will first go to the Blueco-owned Ligue 1 Side Strasbourg.
See below for the two Romano updates that followed immediately yesterday evening…
Buonanotte and Enciso are among the two exciting young talents who were impressed in Brighton, and their respective loan spells in Leicester City and Ipswichtown.
Chelsea has once again shown how enthusiastic they are to emulate Brighton’s work in the transfer market by investing in these two prospects of the future.
Chelsea Raid Brighton once again in the busy summer transfer window
Chelsea shows no indication that they will change their transfer approach. Since Todd Bouley took over from Rome Abramovich, the club has been down very strongly on a very specific route.
Bruce raided Brighton multiple times, bringing the talents of top players such as Moise Skyseko, Mark Culera, João Pedro and Robert Sanchez.
Now Buonanotte and Enciso are also on their way to the game, with Chelsea stocking up some of the best young players in the game.
Other long-term investments have been made this summer, including Jamie Gitens, Liam Dellup, Jorell Hat and Esteva Willian.
Alejandro Garnacho has also been confirmed by Enzo Maresca, and it will be interesting to see if this policy of so many frequent team changes will lead to more success after recent victory in the Europa Conference League and Club World Cup.
