Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has an update for Manchester United fans.
The highly rated 17-year-old is one of the next big things to come at Old Trafford, and Man Utd will be pleased to secure his future.
According to Romano, Red Devils manager Reuben Amorim is already a huge Mantato fan, and manager Jason Wilcox also played a key role in getting the deal done.

If Amorim already realizes his potential, this could be exciting news for the club as Mantato could be something to watch with United’s first team in the near future.
I have seen MUFC generate top talent from the academy many times before. Fans hope that Mantato will be able to follow in the footsteps of the greatest club ever.
Manchester United has a history of academy alumni and success
Much of United’s success during Sir Alex Ferguson’s era was on homemade players like the Ryan Giggs, Paul Shoals and the Neville brothers.
Recently, I’ve seen Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominai and Cobby Mine come along.
Mantato can have similar possibilities, so it’s good that United tied him into a new deal.
Arsenal, for example, would know that academy players don’t always remain in place.
United have done well to poach those young people, but they are also creating their own.
