Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Noni Maduke to Arsenal is “going here.”
According to Romano, Chelsea wingers are poised to complete their travel to gunners with fees of over £50 million, while athletic David Ornstein has a total figure of £52 million.
Madueke has been strongly linked to Arsenal for the past few days, and things seem to be progressing rapidly. England International has also agreed to a five-year contract at Emirates Stadium.

I read the post of Romano on X: “Exclusive: Noni Maduke to Arsenal, we’re going here! Prices over £50 million, including add-ons including Chelsea’s Green Light, have exceeded £50 million. Madueke has already agreed to a five-year deal with Arsenal, and he is currently set to complete the move. The winger is leaving #CFC participate #AFC. ”
Meanwhile, Ornstein added:Arsenal fully agrees with Chelsea and signs Noni Maduce. Clubs that are close to compromises for 23yo wingers to participate #AFC from #CFC With a £52 million deal. 5yr contract. Once consultations enter the final stage, the United States England will int’l @theathleticfc rear @fabrizioromano. “
Noni Maduke transfer fees look expensive
It’s a bit surprising that Arsenal appears to be paying so much to players like Madueke who aren’t actually going down the world at Chelsea or being an automatic starter.
The 23-year-old has a lot of potential and he’s still young enough to get better, but did Arsenal really agree to pay so much to a promising player who is likely to be offering Bukayosaka’s cover?
It’s important to note that Romano says that charges above £50 million include add-ons. So it is not clear how long ago you are paid.
In theory, AFC may have paid something like £35-40m before, but it may not be so realistic for them to meet, as they don’t make it clear exactly what the terms of those add-ons are.
Madueke will be Arsenal’s fourth summer signature
Arsenal has a busy start to the summer, with three new faces already taking part.
Kepa Arrizabalaga was the first to join and moved from Chelsea after the goalkeeper spent his time on loan at Bournemouth last season.
Next up is Martin Zubimendi, who appears to be the ideal alternative to Jorginho, with Spanish International joining from Real Sociedad.
Finally, Christian Norgaard’s move to Arsenal was officially announced yesterday, and it looked like a sensible signature to allow Denmark International to join from Brentford and replace the resignation of Thomas Party.
