Welcome to the latest version of Missing Fists. Here we shed light on battles from all over the world. These busy times may have been overlooked.
When matched to UFC 314 last Saturday, it was treated from the top to bottom of a solid card that was only slightly damaged by a trio of suspicious stops. Mikal Olexijejukuku scored a knockout from Cedriquez Dumas when it seemed Dumas was still fighting him. Michael Bertrand criminally slowed Darren Elkins’ beatdown, and Dan Ige added victory to his collection, but is fighting for Take Doun.
Somehow, nonetheless, the most disappointing finish may have actually happened a day ago (no pun intended) at LFA 206 in front lake in Minh.

Joey Hart vs. Omoiele Gonzalez
Alvin Hines vs. Billy Ray Valdez
Martin Camillo vs Perry Stargel
Tanner Tremble vs. Kyle Jimic
Santos Verdines vs. Timothy Bender
Alvin Hines vs. Billy Ray Valdez
Martin Camillo vs Perry Stargel
Tanner Tremble vs. Kyle Jimic
Santos Verdines vs. Timothy Bender
This is really no one’s fault as Joey Hart simply throws a kick from an odd angle and his toes land in the worst place.
As you can see, Omoyele Gonzalez was clearly struck by the eyes, but there’s not much that can be done when a coincidence Poke happens like that. Judgment Rob Madrigal may have paused the action, but it was unknown at the time what happened, and there was only about a minute left in the round, so they put it on board. Unfortunately for Gonzalez, his eyes bulged hard from the jab on his toe, and he couldn’t come out in round three.
So TKO wins for the heart.
It wasn’t a complete tragedy, considering Hart nearly finished Gonzalez at the end of round one anyway. But like Woodson, who was down on Ige’s card heading towards the third, it gets “knocked out” like that and loses chances for a comeback.
Another way to lose a fight in this crazy game.
Palette Cleanser: Heavyweight Head Kick.
Ah, I’m feeling very good. Thank you, Alvin Hines.
The LFA 206 was truly a smolgas board of joy, and the 12 battles of the event were not in the scorecard (12 KOS/TKO, two submissions). You can see them all for yourself in UFC Fight Pass, but here three more winners made a strong impression.
Martin Camilo put it in Perry Stargel and we actually got an excellent judgement stop here.
Stargel’s face and body language both said, “Just think about it, man, what are you trying to do?
Kyle Jimic had no visible response to the walloping he took from Tanner trembling, as he seemed to not want to fall, even after a clean punch after a clean punch landed.
By the time Zimick’s brain was at risk, Trembley found an off switch.
Before we proceed, let’s talk about another stop.
I don’t think Santos Verdines would have denounced referee Nick Bellens if he stopped after Timothy Bender was sent face to face in the opening round one. However, Berens manages to pull himself back and give him a room to recover Verdines’ room (this is the fact that the Bender has retreated, assuming that Bender is finished).
If you’re craving more for that, the LFA 207 will go down at SIOUX Falls on UFC Fight Pass tonight at 9pm.
Mehdad Kavand Vs. Marco Biswana
The vendor’s walk-off attempts have not worked, but the same cannot be said about Mehdad Kavand.
Kaband lifted his arm and tried to signal the end of the fight himself, but was denied. With no comeback on this occasion, it turns out he had given his favor to his enemy Marco Biswana. I kneeled a little more on my right hand and chin, giving Caband a stylish moment.

Tiriel Abramovich vs. Wojciech Kacprzyk
Milan Faggin Vs. Mikal
Milan Faggin Vs. Mikal
At the Fight Night Championship event in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Tiriel Abramovich had a perfect moment of hesitation before releasing the knockout of a one-punch.
I love how this came in the middle of a chaotic gust of wind. Abramovic breathed, composed herself, then dealt a crushed blow.
For heavyweight veteran Mikal Kita, now a professional record dating back to 2006, it could soon be a happy path for 44-year-old Mikal Kita.
That big uppercut at the top of the clip was the beginning of the end. It was autopilot from there for Kita, and once he finished on his back he wasn’t standing up.
Sen vs. Mr. Satan
From deep events in Tokyo:
You know, I always say there’s nothing like a good old right hand device kick to a face combo. I don’t actually say that, but after seeing that finish I might start.
Joan Arastey vs. Lucas Rodrigues
Joan Arastey’s knockout victory from the Ansgar Fighting League in Valencia, Spain reminds me of that SLO-MO medicine from that Kickass Dredd movie.
He has Lucas Rodriguez stiffened his leg, and the compilation of this clip really emphasizes that for Rodriguez he must have felt like he was falling forever.
Zach Golden vs. Stephen Campbell
Lewis Wood vs Sam Howard
Lewis Wood vs Sam Howard
We conclude with some smooth kick-knockouts courtesy of Zack Golden and Lewis Wood.
Golden showed beautiful patience in a match at the American Combat Alliance 45, chasing after Stephen Campbell without overexpanding the right moment to hit a head kick.
Rather than countering his footwork or becoming a difficult target to hit himself, Campbell can be seen repeatedly making the mistake of flinching. It was only a matter of time before Golden caught him.
In amateur action in the almighty Fighting Championship 40, Lewis Wood was unleashed with a gorgeous spin kick, rewarding him with an extremely beautiful finish.
