The Indiana Pacers have returned by age 20 to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers and take a 2-0 series lead.
In Game 2, the Indiana Pacers followed the Cleveland Cavaliers by 20 points in two-half, but were able to surge when it mattered, winning 120-119.
In the final minutes, Pascal Siakam and Ty Halliburton each missed two free throws, but Aaron Nesmith managed to bring Siakam’s second mistake back to the dunk.
After hitting the shot, fans were teleported in the 1990s and 2000s.
Since 2010, the dance, which has brought fines from the league, is very easy. Halliburton was showing an unfriendly Cleveland crowd that he was being created for now, who jealed him with a “overrated” chant throughout the game.
Of course, fans loved the celebration, with both Halliburton and Cassel growing trends on social media.
“Drawer!” Commented to one fan.
“Hang it at the Louvre,” added a complex sport.
“I can’t believe it,” he cried to another. “Tyrease Halliburton really did that. I’m yelling to Sam Cassel to inspire that celebration.”
“Who voted for this guy’s most overrated NBA player????” asked another person.
The celebration isn’t family-friendly at all, but Halliburton is wiped out at the moment, and fans seem excited to see another thrilling end to the playoff game.
Halliburton became the only Aaron Gordon player to hit a shot that won this postseason, and after a 20-point comeback he can’t really blame him for being hooked.
Halliburton finished with 19 points and attempted a 3-point attempt, but after a severe fall he missed most of the third quarter with a wrist injury. He comes back and misses time so he can tape his arm, but Indiana is waiting for an x-ray to see if it is serious.
It’s safe to say he passed the eye test.
In 2010, the league banned the “Sam Kassel” dance and fined LeBron James $15,000 in 2021. The league cited it as “making obscene gestures on the play court” as the reason for the fine.
The league has made $42.2 million this season, but it’s safe to say he secretly thinks it’s worth it, especially as the Pacers lead the East’s top team 2-0 before the series heads for Indiana.
