Jose Aldo’s final battle is not only for obvious reasons, but a battle that has been talked about for many years.
The former featherweight king lost a controversial decision to Ayman Zahabi on the UFC 315 main card on Saturday, and Zahabi scored a 29-28-score trio after a fiercely fighting three-round fight. Both fighters had moments and threatened to finish on the third time, with Aldo rocking Zahabi and swinging the head kick early, Zahabi slowing Aldo, who almost grounded and pounded.
Aldo reached the scorecard, but never saw his hands rise as he lost on the third point in the last four fights.
Social media opposed the decision, with Renato Moicano calling the score a “f*cking robbery,” but the response quickly shifted to 38-year-old Aldo removing his gloves following the announcement of the results.
Aldo then uses his postwar Mike time to declare, “I think this is the last time you’ll see me.”

Aldo has been carrying MMA sports for little guys for over a decade. He had to watch TV in the modern era of MMA. Respect for the champions!
