The light heavyweight great and current “uncontroversial” (they continue to use that term) the UFC heavyweight champion issued a lengthy statement this week ensuring a legion of loyal fans, “The story is still written.” This has definitely nothing to do with the tentative, despite having shown no indications to book a fight since Jones ran Stipe Miocic, who retired at UFC 309 this November. Authentic—Champion Tom Aspinall is waiting for the UFC to give him a 2025 allocation.
