Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green enjoys improving the players around him with his team.
Speaking during All-Star Weekend, Draymond Green has declared that the Golden State Warriors will win the NBA Championship this season.
Although they were optimistic at the time, the Warriors were fighting just to reach the play-in spot. Now they are looking for a playoff spot and can still finish to the third or fourth height.
Jimmy Butler’s trade has given the confidence to the franchise’s game-changer, the Warriors.
Warriors legend Chris Marin welcomed Warriors Curry and Butler’s Big 2, but to compete for the title they really had to stomp their depths, and there have been some great signs recently.
The Warriors’ statement saw a big performance from Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga as they signed the LA Lakers.
And Moses Moody, who lost to the Rockets, led the team with a rare off-night score for Stephen Curry.
Speaking about the podcast, Draymond Green says he is excited by the defensive efforts the trio is proposing.
He states: “The effort they’ve put into the defensive side, their offense is the direct effect, it’s like how the game works, you give it all on the defensive side, you get the reward.
“They were both very aggressive… So did Moses (Moody), who stood up and was challenged to protect the best guards of the other teams.
“We need to play well to do the run we want to make. It’s good to play the way they play and watch them shoot ___ from the ball with confidence.

Greene is most impressed with Jonathan Cuminga and believes he plays with defensive strength he has never seen before.
He explained:
“It’s the first time I’ve seen him in his career when he went to get it and he says, ‘I don’t care anything else, this is what I’m trying to do and I’m going to make it so that I can’t get off the floor.”
“And you really respect that, and that was my way to become me.”
Jonathan Kuminga spent a few tricky months mentioned as a possibility of being thrown into Jimmy Butler’s trade.
Instead, it was Andrew Wiggins who was sacrificed, but Kuminga had to wait a long time for his injuries.
And after much hope for his return, Cuminga was overwhelming. Steve Kerr admits he has struggled to fit the team following Butler’s deal.
Kuminga has made improvements, with the game-by-game rebounds jumping from March 3.3 to April 5.7, showing some of the additional resolve Draymond Green is talking about, and if the team goes deep into the postseason, they will need to keep it up.
