Formerly promising outlook, Sage Northcutt currently has a new career path in the real estate world.
The 29-year-old now made her top promotional debut at UFC 192 in 2015. The event was headlined by Daniel Cormier, making his first light heavyweight defense against Alexander Gustafson in the best fight of the year.
Also in this card, certain Islamic Makachev suffered his only professional defeat on this card, but his infamous KO was defeated by Adriano Martins.

After a successful UFC 192 debut, a rapid 57-second victory predicted many Sage Northcutts would become future contenders. Later that December, Northcutt won another finish with Cody Pister’s guillotine submission, leading his record to 7-0. Unfortunately, the following year proved to be a turbulent one for young people. Suffering from the defeat of submission to both Brian Barbarena and Mickey Gal, he saw his stock hit.
Following Gar’s defeat, Northcutt returned to the cage 11 months later, winning three games in a decisive victory over Michelle Kiñons. In 2018, he moved Zac Ottow to an 11-2 record via TKO, surprising many fans left the UFC after this fight. Dana White confirmed that he decided to oppose Northcutt’s contract renewal as he felt he could make some tweaks to the game. He has competed in one championship and has only fought twice since 2019, since winning his final match with heel hooks in 2023.
Two years later, Sage Northcutt will join the Rose area as a real estate agent and hopes that he will be able to return to MMA at just 29 years old.
