Taylor was cut by the last month after spending 10 seasons in Los Angeles. He first appeared in the uniforms in 2016, but it was the following season that he entered the scene and took the baseball world by storm.
The utility star hit .288 during the regular season and earned the joint NLCS MVP honors to help secure the first of four NL pennants to help the win in their time in Los Angeles.
After the clutch home runs, after years of Hustle plays and countless memories, his time with the will suddenly come nearer in mid-May.
Superstar Mookie Betts shared his thoughts on the clubhouse Chris Taylor-sized hole shortly after its release last month.
“The CT was much quieter and quieter for me. That might be a little different,” Betts told Bill Plunkett on the Orange County Register. “But CT has always been an example of hard work. He was someone who showed young people how to prepare and was preparing for the game. I don’t know who’s going to do that now, but CT did an amazing job of getting that into perspective.
The two World Series rings that Taylor brought to town will never be forgotten as fans certainly hope that the All-Stars will soon heal and return to Diamond.
