Former Los Angeles utility man Christaylor has already found a new home. The Los Angeles Angels signed Taylor on Monday for each MLB Insider Ken Rosenthal.

He will play for the Angels at Center Field, which will be playing against the New York Yankees on Monday night. Taylor was released by the last Sunday ahead of the team’s series finale against Hello.
Just a week later, the utility man finds himself wearing an angel uniform.
Taylor has represented the heart and hurdles of the ‘ roster for nearly a decade, and his shocking departure comes just days after the team chose to designate longtime catcher Austin Burns for the challenge.
As Andrew Friedman previously stated, the waves of cuts came in tight division races. But manager Dave Roberts added that he wanted Taylor to play more and that if the opportunity wasn’t with the , he wanted to find it elsewhere.
The have used Taylor sparingly this season, receiving 35 plate appearances and 35-7 on 13 strikeouts this season. He appeared in 2025 in 28 of the ‘ 46 games.
“He wanted more opportunities to play, and if it wasn’t here, he would have played somewhere else,” Roberts said. “It’s like the idea behind how it unfolded. I admire him for betting on himself.
Now Taylor will join the Angels. The Angels are currently competing for the wild card spot in American League standings.
