To say Thomas Frank is doing a massive job in his hands at Tottenham Hotspur next season would be an understatement.
The former Brentford boss needs to dramatically improve his club’s Premier League performance and remain competitive in the domestic cup and Champions League.
The best and only way that Daniel Levy and co-operate can help him achieve this is by signing many true top draw players this summer.
One such player that has been linked to recent clubs is Mohamed Kudus, but recent reports also promote even better options for the transition to the N17.
Spurs targets large Kudus upgrades
Interestingly, Kudus has been linked to his move to Tottenham for some time, with the first report citing interest from North Londoners in the summer of 2022 only being again in March 2023 to secure his service by swooping down in August for around £38 million.
However, the 24-year-old is currently playing for London’s rivals, but the Spurs still seem interested.
In fact, according to early stories today, Lily White is keen on the previous Ajax gems and is a hammer that needs to address PSR concerns, and he could potentially be available for around £60 million.
However, there is another player who previously had heavy links to the move to the N17. He could eventually move this summer and maybe just an option: Eberechi Eze.
According to a recent report from Transfers expert Fabrizio Romano, broadcast by Givemesport, Spurs maintains a strong interest in the Crystal Palace star.
Though he has no international contact with talent, Romano has revealed that he is on the North London target list following discussions between the club’s top and Frank.
Regarding the potential costs of the previous QPR star, it has been widely reported for some time as he has a release clause worth around £68 million in his current contract.
It’s a complicated and expensive transfer to get over the line, but Eze is worth more and will be a better signing than Kudos.
Why would Eze be a better signature than Kudus?
So, it makes sense to start by looking at the raw output of the pair this season, as goals and assists are the most important thing to ultimately attack the player, and once you do that, Eze’s advantage will soon begin to become apparent.
For example, the 27-year-old “magician” called Pandit Mikalachers, scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in a total of 3,303 minutes of appearances.
In contrast, Hammers Ace scored five goals and was able to provide four assists in a 35-minute appearance.
In general, in addition to scoring more goals, the Palace Star also shows that he can score large goals at large moments, like in the FA Cup semi-finals and finals this season.
Unfortunately for the Ghanaian star, the incredibly one-sided nature of this comparison only gets worse for him when we look at the numbers that underlie them.

For example, virtually all relevant indicators, England International has gone ahead with assists, shot-making actions, key passes, and more in addition to the expected non-penalty goals, suggesting that his very good power will not suck up at all.
Interestingly, the born star also creates more tackles per 90 and completes more ball recovery.
Ultimately, Kudus is a talented player and will be a good signing for the Spurs, but Eze is a great player and will be a sensational addition to Frank’s Squad this summer.
So, even if he costs more money, Levi and Co should do everything they can to sign the Eagles star before someone beats them on him.
